Man Injured In Princess Anne Mobile Home Fire

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - A mobile home fire that injured a Somerset County man overnight, is under investigation.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says the blaze started just after 12:15 AM in the front bedroom of a 12' x 50' mobile home on Warwick Lane in Princess Anne. The fire reportedly took 25 fire fighters from four area fire departments, 35 minutes to control.

Officials say, one person was injured in the fire. 64-year-old Edward Ritter is currently listed in critical condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma facility.

Damages to the home are estimated to total $30,000. The Fire Marshal's Office is reportedly still investigating the cause of the blaze.
