LINCOLN, Del. - A crash that shut down an intersection near Lincoln Tuesday afternoon killed one person and left another injured.
A Pontiac Firebird heading north on Cedar Creek Road, approximately
three-tenths of a mile south of Johnson Road, reportedly entered the southbound lane onto the path of an oncoming dump truck. The driver of the vehicle swerved to correct, but wound up back in the truck's path. The two collided and both vehicles were sent into a roadside ditch.
