Tuesday Evening Lewes Mobile Home Fire Under Investigation

LEWES, Del. - The cause of a mobile home fire in Lewes, is under investigation.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office says the fire started just after 9:00 PM on Tuesday, at a mobile home in the 22000 block of Cypress Road. The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company responded, and with assistance from Lewes and Indian River Fire Companies, extinguished the flames. There were reportedly no injuries.

The Fire Marshal's Office says they are still investigating where the fire started, and what caused it. The fire reportedly severely damaged the doublewide mobile home. Total damages are estimated at $5,000.
