UPDATE: One Arrested In Dover Armed Robbery

DOVER, Del. - Police say one man wanted in connection to a Dover robbery, has turned himself in, while they are still searching for the second. Dover Police say on Saturday, 23-year-old Robert Hawkes, turned himself in at the Wilmington Police Department, in connection to an armed robbery in a Dover park.

Hawkes was wanted, after he, and another male, reportedly met with the victim in White Oak Park on May 6th, to sell an XBOX. According to the report, the unknown suspect pointed a gun at the victim, and Hawkes removed cash, a cell phone, and other personal items from the victim's pockets.

Hawkes is charged with robbery 1st degree, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and conspiracy 2nd degree. He is being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $41,000 bond.

Police say they are still looking to identify the second male suspect. He is reportedly described as a dark skinned black male, 5'6″-5'8″ tall, weighting 180-195 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dover Police at 302-736-7111.
