Fight At Dover Downs Casino Leads To Arrests

DOVER, Del. - The Dover Police Department says a fight at the Dover Downs Casino led to multiple arrests early this morning.

According to reports, officers were patrolling Dover Downs Casino around 2:00 AM this morning, when a large crowd was observed in the parking lot. A fight reportedly broke out between defendant Dorsey Davis and Defendant Daheem Gadson. When officers attempted to separate them, police say an officer was struck in the face by defendant Davis. Davis then reportedly fled from police on foot.

After a brief foot pursuit, defendant Dorsey Davis was reportedly taken into custody without incident.  Police say defendant Jazmine Johnson and Defendant Kadeem Harris were also arrested for disorderly conduct when they refused to disperse the area. Defendants Harris, Gadson, and Johnson were reportedly processed and then released. Police say Defendant Dorsey Davis was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $8,500.00 secured bond
