Dover Police Investigate Burglary At Capitol Diner

DOVER, Del. - The Dover Police Department says they are investigating a burglary that happened last night.

According to reports, between May 10th and May 11th, an unknown suspect forced entry into the Capitol Diner, located on 913 S Dupont Hwy Dover through the rear door. Once inside, the suspect reportedly removed the till from the cash register which contained an undisclosed amount of money. Police say the suspect fled the business into an unknown direction.

The investigation is reportedly still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)-736-7111 or by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
