1 Arrested, 2 Others Wanted After Threatening To Shoot Into A Crowd

MILTON, Del. -A Milton man is arrested and two other suspects are wanted after threatening to fire a weapon into a crowd.

It all occurred in a parking lot on the 100 block of Magnolia Street. According to police, a male suspect was brandishing a gun while threatening to shoot a group of people, which included three minors. The suspect, who was later identified as 28-year-old Melvin Jones of Milton, then fled the scene with 31-year-old Stephanie Schenker and 33-year-old Julia Pabon, both from Milton as well.

Jones turned himself in on May 6 and was committed to SCCI on $73,500 bond. He's facing numerous charges including eight counts of Aggravated Menacing and three counts of Endangering The Welfare Of A Child. The weapon he was brandishing has not been located at this time.
