One Charged In February Easton Home Invasion

Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. - A former Easton man has been arrested in Montgomery County, in connection to a February home invasion.

Easton Police say on Wednesday, Montgomery County Department of Corrections served an arrest warrant on 22-year-old Tevin Green, charging him with burglary 1st, 3rd, and 4th degree, robbery and armed robbery, assault 1st and 2nd degree, firearm use in a violent crime, theft less than $1,000, and rogue and vagabond.

The charges stem from a February 10th, incident, where Police say Green entered a home on Tubman Drive, with the occupant asleep in the living room. According to the report, Green turned on the lights, waking up the female occupant, who then confronted him, and attempted to defend herself. Police say Green punched her in the face, grabbed the victim's purse, and fled. He also apparently ransacked the victim's vehicle that was parked outside of the home.

Green is now being held at the Montgomery County Department of Corrections without bond. Police say he is also being held at the facility on an unrelated attempted murder.
