Crisfield Drug Bust Lands Four In Handcuffs

CRISFIELD, Md. - Four people were arrested on Friday in Crisfield, on drug charges.

Crisfield Police say on Friday, May 2nd, around 11:15 AM, they executed a search and seizure warrant at a home on Myrtle Street. Once on scene, three people of interest were reportedly arrested, Leah Sherman, Kenneth Byrd, and Cheyenne Patton. According to the report, while Officers were searching the house, one of the residents, Joseph Howe Jr., came home, and was also arrested.

The search reportedly revealed approximately 1600 grams of suspected marijuana, with a street value of $3,000, along with a .270 Remington rifle, and other contraband. Howe and Sherman were both charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and distribution of marijuana.

Byrd and Patton were each charged with possession of marijuana, and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Howe and Sherman, who both live at the Myrtle were released on $40,000 bail from Somerset County Detention Center.
