Information Sought On Dover Gas Station Robbery

Posted: Updated:

DOVER, Del. - Police are looking to identify four suspects, in the armed robbery of a Dover gas station on Tuesday.

Dover Police say the incident happened just before 10:15 PM, at the US Gas Station, on Bay Road at South Little Creek Road. According to the report, four male suspects went into the store through the front door, each wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gloves, and disguises over their faces, armed with multiple weapons, including a handgun and a sawed off shotgun. Police say they demanded money from the clerk, and fled with an undisclosed amount.

No injuries were reported from the incident. Authorities say they are hoping that the unique pattern on the white sweatshirt on one of the suspects, along with his shoes, will help in identifying the suspects in this crime.

Anyone with information about this incident, is asked to contact, Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111, or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be sent anonymously online, through the Tip Submit website.
