Dover Police Investigating Reported Armed Robbery

DOVER, Del. - Two men are at-large after a reported armed robbery in Dover on Tuesday.

According to reports, around 3:10 PM on Tuesday afternoon, the victim met with two subjects in White Oak Park on the 1200 block of White Oak Road to reportedly see an Xbox for $250. When the victim arrived, police say he was approached by the two subjects, one of them later identified as Robert Hawkes, 23, and the other an unknown suspect. Reports say the unknown suspect pointed a handgun at the victim while Hawkes allegedly went through the victim's pockets.

Hawkes and his accomplice reportedly made away with an undisclosed amount of cash, a cell phone and other personal items.

Reports say the unknown subject is described as a black male, around 5'6″-5'8″ and 180-195 pounds. Hawkes reportedly has a warrant out for his arrest. Police say he now faces multiple charges, including first degree robbery.
