Bio-retention Project Up For Discussion In Salisbury

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury City Council is scheduled to discuss a $250,000 bio-retention project downtown, along the water near parking lot 12.

The city hopes the project will help reduce the nutrients and sediments flowing into the Wicomico river by creating a natural storm water barrier.

The council is also set to look into a bicycle advisory committee, charged with advising City officials and staff on the development, management, and safe use of the City of Salisbury's pedestrian and bicycle systems in relation to infrastructure, accessibility, and promoting the benefits of these systems.
