Dover Police Investigating Burglary At King Buffet

DOVER, Del. - The Dover Police Department says they are investigating a robbery that happened yesterday at King Buffet.

According to reports, police responded to a complaint of a burglary that occurred at restaurant on 239 North Dupont Hwy. The investigation reportedly revealed that at approximately 6:00 AM, an unknown suspect wearing a white blanket on his head and upper body to conceal his identity, broke out the back window of the business and entered through the window.

Once inside, the suspect reportedly searched the business for money breaking numerous items in the process. After searching the business and being unable to locate any money inside, the suspect allegedly fled the area.

Police say the suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 30 years old, and between 5'9" and 6'0" tall. The investigation is still reportedly ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7111.
