Glen Avenue To Close For Commencement Ceremonies At Civic Center

SALISBURY, Md. - A local roadway will be closed, to accommodate attendees to many graduation ceremonies throughout the month of May. County Executive Rick Pollitt says that Glen Avenue in Salisbury will be closed in front of the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center to allow for the safe crossing of participants and event guests.

•             Wednesday, May 7 - Wor-Wic Community College, 5pm - 10pm
•             Wednesday, May 21 - Salisbury University Graduate Commencement, 4pm - 10pm
•             Thursday, May 22 - Salisbury University Undergraduate Commencement, 8am - 6pm
•             Tuesday, May 27 - Wicomico High School, 5pm - 10pm
•             Wednesday, May 28 - James M. Bennett High School, 5pm - 10pm
•             Thursday, May 29 - Parkside High School, 5pm - 10pm
•             Friday, May 30 - Mardela High School, 5pm - 10pm

During the above dates and times, Glen Avenue will be closed to thru traffic.
