tickets Princess Anne Police issued to drivers who were caught texting
behind the wheel.
Police are sending motorists a strong message: U Drive. U Text. U Pay. It's all a part of a national distracted driving enforcement campaign to crack down on this ongoing problem.
According to the latest numbers by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, more than 3,300 people were killed and approximately 421,000 were injured in crashes involving a distracted driver in 2012.
