UPDATE: Sentencing Set For June For Mikowski

Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. - A date is set for the sentencing of Matthew Mikowski, guilty of several charges for his involvement in the murder of Samuel Cross. Mikowski will learn his fate on June 13th.

The 18-year-old was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment and second degree assault, but found not guilty of second degree murder.

Mikowski strangled Cross last June, while hanging out at Mikowski's home. The boys reportedly used hallucinogenic drugs.

Witnesses tell police they watched Mikowski choke Cross to death that night. The next day, Cross' body was found next to his SUV on the side of Bozman-Neavitt Road.
