UPDATE: Motion To Combine Counts For Bundick, Denied

Posted: Updated:

ACCOMACK CO., Va. - It looks like the woman accused of 62 counts in connection to a string of arsons in Accomack County, will be getting separate trials.

On Friday, a Judge ruled that a motion to combine the 62 counts that Tonya Bundick is facing, was denied. This means that 62 separate trials is a possibility. At this time, the Commonwealth, and Bundick's lawyers have not agreed if any two or more counts can be combined.

On April 10th, motions were also filed for a change of venue for trial, and for Bundick to tend to her personal appearance before court, the Judge ruled that both of those motions are premature. The Judge will apparently look at them again, when, or if, a jury trial is set.
