Waterman Rescued After Spending Night On Marshy Island

SNOW HILL, Md. - The Maryland Natural Resources Police says a waterman was rescued early this morning after spending the night out on the water.

Sgt. Brian Albert, a spokesman for police, tells 47 ABC, the waterman's boat capsized Saturday evening and he swam to the nearest land which was a marsh area. Officials say he was found around 7:30 AM this morning by his father and another waterman.

Officials say he was treated for hypothermia, and they have not released his name yet. 47 ABC will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
