Shupe Wins Milford Election

MILFORD, Del. -  The votes have been cast and Milford now has a new mayor.

Bryan Shupe was elected Saturday to succeed Mayor Rodgers, who announced his retirement in January.

Shupe received 648 votes, a majority of the 988 cast. James Oechsler came in second with 280, and Betty Schiedenhelm received 60.

Mayor-elect Shupe will be sworn in on May 5th.
