UPDATE: Savage Sentenced To 75 Years

WICOMICO CO., Md. - A Delmar man convicted of 2nd degree murder in February, has been sentenced. In a Wicomico County courtroom, on Thursday morning, Eddie Savage Jr., who was convicted in the July 2013 shooting death of Kenneth Sparks, was sentenced to 75 years behind bars.

The shooting happened during an argument at Savage's home, during which Savage fired three shots, one fatally hitting Sparks.

In addition to the murder conviction, Eddie Savage Jr. was found guilty of second degree assault, second degree attempted murder, firearm use in a felony or violent crime, and illegal possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Savage was also was found guilty of seven counts of reckless endangerment, for firing his gun in a situation where his seven children could have been hit.
