Convicted Man Pleads Guilty In MD To Shooting At Police Homes

Posted: Updated:

WICOMICO CO., Md. - A Delmar man already locked up for shooting at a Delaware police officer's home may be facing more time.

Orrin Joudrey, 21, pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree assault and one count of malicious destruction of property for similar crimes in Maryland in 2012. In September 2013, Joudrey testified against accomplice David Watson.  He confessed that he and Watson fired at three officers' houses between December 10th and 27th in Sussex and Wicomico Counties.

Wicomico County assistant state's attorney Ella Disharoon tells 47 ABC that this is a binding plea and the state is asking for Joudrey to serve 23-years consecutively, meaning that once his time is up in Delaware, he would serve the additional time in Maryland.

He's currently serving 11 years in Delaware.

Sentencing has not been set.
