Information Sought On Milford Motorcycle Crash

MILFORD, Del. - Police are looking for information, after a crash involving a motorcycle that left one person injured. Milford Police say around 3:00 PM on Tuesday, 61-year-old Alan Long, of Camden was riding his 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle on S. Rehoboth Boulevard, near Evans Street.

According to the report, a silver pick-up truck driven by a male, was in the left turn lane on S. Rehoboth Boulevard, to make the turn onto Evan Street, and cut off Long, who hit the brakes in order to avoid a collision. Police say Long was able to lay the bike down, and slid approximately 25 yards on S. Rehoboth Boulevard, while the pick-up truck continued on Evans Street.

Long was rushed to Milford Bayhealth Emergency Room with a leg injury.

Police are still investigating the incident, and are asking anyone with information or may have witnessed the crash to contact Ptlm. Collins at the Milford Police Department at 302-422-8081.
