SALISBURY, MARYLAND - SALISBURY, Md. - Students at SU came together earlier today to kick off Earth Week and reduce their carbon footprint.  Thousands of pounds of recyclables were collected on red square, with fun music and free tee shirts.  Bags and boxes full of paper, plastics, glass, and aluminum were weighed on a scale, then hurled into a dumpster.  Clubs,Greek life, and RSOs competed to see who could donate the most.  The group who donates the most items in weight will win money for their club.  The school has more fun and earth conscious activities planned for the rest of the week.
