UPDATE: Charges Pending In Easton Truck Crash

EASTON, Md. - Charges are pending, after a truck hit a guardrail on Route 50 on Saturday.

Easton Police say on Friday, a large moving truck was driving East on Ocean Gateway near Kennedy Street, when it apparently didn't slow down for traffic, causing it to rear end a vehicle stopped for the traffic light. According to the report, the driver, 45-year-old Charles Underwood, of Baltimore, over compensated, smashing through the guardrail and crashing into the ditch below.

All injuries were reportedly minor. Police say Underwood was at fault, and charged are pending.

Eastbound Ocean Gateway was closed for two hours, causing traffic to be rerouted, while special equipment was brought in to assist with crash clean up.
