Easton Police Arrest Baltimore Man On Drug-Related Charges

EASTON, Md. - The Easton Police Department says they arrested a Baltimore man on Friday for drug-related charges.

According to reports, police stopped a car for speeding on Ocean Gateway near Dutchmans Lane. Police say they searched the car because a strong odor of marijuana was emitted from a passenger compartment. A subsequent search reportedly revealed two bags of suspected marijuana and a set of scales.

Police say the driver, Darrell Burrell, 19, of Baltimore was charged with driving without a license, driving in violation of a rental agreement, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A passenger, Edward Glenn, 20, was also charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Both were reportedly cited and released until trial.
