Marijuana Growing Operation Busted In Caroline Co.

PRESTON, Md. - Two people were arrested Thursday after a reported drug bust in Caroline County.

According to reports, The Caroline County Drug Task Force was serving a warrant when they into a house on the 6400-block of Harmony Road in Preston.

Officials say they found a sophisticated marijuana grow operation inside a shed on the property. The operation reported included 42 marijuana plants which, had they been allowed to grow, would have been valued at over $100,000.

The owners of the house,Joseph and Elizabeth Christner, were both arrested on scene and now face a number of drug charges. Both were released on bond.
