SU Women's Tennis Earns 10th Win of the Year

Posted: Updated:
CHESTERTOWN, Md - The Salisbury University women's tennis team picked up its 10th win of the year with a 8-1 victory over Washington. The Sea Gulls got off to a great start with Natalie Savage and Roxanne Alban would take down the No. 13 ranked team in the Atlantic South Region 9-7. SU would carry its momentum from that match into the rest if doubles play, as they would take the No. 2 and No. 3 matches.

In singles action, the Sea Gulls would continue to coast taking the No. 3, No. 4 No. 5 and No. 6 match ups. The win improves SU to 10-7 on the season, as they will look to get a winning streak going when they travel to Pennsylvania to take on Elizabethtown College Thursday. Those matches are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
