Posted: Updated:

BERLIN, Md. - Two people are reportedly dead after an alleged murder-suicide in Berlin this morning.

The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says the call for a shooting on Williams Street came in between 8:00 and 9:00 AM to the Berlin Police Department. When authorities responded to the home, Ada Wright, 80 was reportedly already dead with two gunshot wounds to the chest. Lester Wright, 89 was reportedly transported to PRMC with three gun shot wounds, and was later pronounced dead.

The investigation is reportedly ongoing, but officials say it appears Lester shot his wife then himself.
