UPDATE: Information Sought In Salisbury Walmart Bomb Threat

SALISBURY, Md. - Police are looking for information, after a bomb threat was reportedly called in to a local retail super center.

On Saturday around 10:00 PM, Salisbury Police say they responded to the Walmart on N. Salisbury Boulevard, after an unidentified male, had apparently called the business and threatened to blow up the store. Police say when they arrived on scene, Walmart management had already started to evacuate the store, and officers were able to assist.

Several explosive K-9 detecting teams from around the area searched building inside and out, extensively, and apparently did not find any evidence of an explosive. The search reportedly took around an hour, and the store resumed normal operations by 12:30 AM on April 13th.

Salisbury Police say they were assisted by the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, and Delaware State Police. At this time, Police say there is no evidence linking this incident to the March 28th bomb threat that the Centre at Salisbury, but their investigation is still on-going and information is still being developed.
