Bomb Threat Evacuates Salisbury Walmart

SALISBURY, Md. - A bomb threat Saturday night forced an evacuation at the Salisbury Walmart.

The Salisbury Police Department says the call came into the store at approximately 10:00 PM. Police reportedly responded to the scene with bomb dogs assisting from the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, and Delaware State Police.

Police say the parking lot and building were searched and cleared by 12:30 AM Sunday, and no device was found.

Chief Duncan, with the Salisbury Police Department, tells 47 ABC they are investigating several leads, but they do not feel this threat has any connection to the bomb threat at the Centre at Salisbury on March 28th. Police say they are still actively investigating that incident as well.
