WORCESTER CO., Md. - Police in Worcester County say they have wrapped up a two month long drug investigation, with an arrest.
The Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team says on April 4th, a two month long investigation into marijuana distribution, lead them to search a home in Newark. Team members were reportedly assisted by the Worcester County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team and the Ocean City Police Department Narcotics Unit.
Investigators say they recovered 7.5 pounds of marijuana, and arrested 26-year-old Jerome McKay, of Newark, at the home. McKay was charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. He is now being held at the Worcester County Jail on $7,000 bond.
