HURLOCK, Md. - Police are investigating a one vehicle fatal accident in Hurlock.

Maryland State Police say 21-year-old Robert Zachary Thomas died in a crash on Friday, on Route 392 - Harrison Ferry Road, South of Route 313 - Eldorado Road. Route 392 was reportedly closed for several hours after the incident, but has since been re-opened.

Police say their investigation showed that around 8:25 AM, the vehicle drove off the road, and hit a tree. Thomas, the only occupant, was apparently ejected from the vehicle, and pronounced dead at the scene. Police say Thomas was not wearing a seat belt.
