MILFORD, Del. - Police are looking for information, after two separate shootings in Milford over the last week.

Milford Police say they are investigating two separate shootings, with the first happening on April 4th. Officers were called to the Milford Bayhealth Hospital where a victim reportedly was in the emergency room with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the 20-year-old male told detectives that he had shot himself accidentally, but this was after he first said he had been shot by an unknown person somewhere on Montgomery Street. He was treated, and later released.

The second incident happened on April 9th, when Officers responded to a home on the 100 block of Montgomery Street, after getting reports of a victim with gunshot wounds. According to the report, Detectives found a 33-year-old male, with multiple gunshot wounds, who was then transported to Christiana Care Hospital. The victim is reported currently listed in stable condition.

Police say it is unknown at this time if the two shootings are related, but their investigation is on-going.

Anyone with information on either of these shootings, is asked to contact Det. John Horsman or Det. Dwight Young of the Milford Police Department Criminal Division at 302-422-808, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, or the Tip Submit website.
