SALISBURY, Md. - With a medical marijuana bill passed in Maryland, could we soon see a grower and seller on the Eastern Shore?
Both the House and Senate reached an agreement to make medicinal cannabis more widely available, creating 15 licenses for growers. Those licenses are expected to be spread throughout the state, but no word yet on how many, if any, would be on the Eastern Shore.
The law would let growers sell the drug directly. Patients would need recommendations from specially licensed doctors.
