Two Indicted In August 2013 Ocean City Assault

Posted: Updated:

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Two Maryland men have been indicted, in connection to an August 2013 assault that happened in a local beach town.

Ocean City Police say on February 24th, a Worcester County Grand Jury indicted 21-year-old Wade Korvin, and 20-year-old Terrence Webester, both of Odenton, Maryland, and charged each with first degree assault, second degree assault and reckless endangerment, for a serious assault that occurred on August 18, 2013.

According to the report, officers responded to 17th Street at St. Louis Avenue, around 1:45 AM, and found a male victim with serious injuries. Their investigation showed the victim had gotten into a fight with a group of unknown males, who fled the scene before Police arrived.

That investigation apparently lead to Korvin and Webster as suspects. Each were released on $100,000 bonds pending their cases being heard in the Circuit Court of Worcester County.

Police say after the incident the victim was admitted to Johns Hopkins Medical Center Surgical Intensive Care Unit in Baltimore, MD. He has since been released, but is reportedly still suffering long term effects from the apparent assault.
