Sussex Co. Officials Hold Workshop To Discuss Building Height

SUSSEX CO., Delaware - Building height will be up for discussion Tuesday in Sussex County.

The county's spokesman, Chip Guy, says Sussex County Council, the county's Planning and Zoning Commission, and the county's Board of Adjustment will hold a joint workshop at 1:30 PM tomorrow in the West Complex at 22215 Dupont Boulevard in Georgetown.

Currently, the law reportedly allows public and semi-public or public service buildings to be built up to 60 feet, but some are looking prevent buildings from getting that high. Other buildings reportedly have a 42 foot cap.

Guy says the workshop is open to the public.
