Centre At Salisbury Reopens, Police Still Searching For Suspect

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - The Centre at Salisbury Mall reopened this morning and was "business as usual," after yesterday's bomb threat led to an evacuation.

Police say it was called in just after 10:30 AM on Friday by someone with a Middle Eastern accent, claiming his cousin placed a bomb outside of the mall. Authorities from Delaware and Maryland State Police, Salisbury Police, Fire Departments, the FBI and a number of other agencies responded.

The Salisbury Police Department says they are still attempting to locate and identify the caller. Anyone with information should contact Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. Police say Crime Solvers will pay up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest.
