MSP Arrest Man For Burglary In Worcester County

Posted: Updated:

WORCESTER CO., Md. - Maryland State Police say they arrested a man for burglary late last night.

According to reports, just before 11:30 PM, troopers were dispatched to the 12000 block of Salisbury Road in reference to a burglary in progress. The complainant reportedly identified the suspect as her ex-boyfriend, Steven Hudson. The complainant allegedly advised that Hudson broke into her house and, when she confronted him, he fled the area on foot.

Police say K-9 and aviation were called in to track down the suspect. OCPD K-9 units were then reportedly able to track Hudson to his hiding spot under the rear deck of a house located at the intersection of Keyser Point Road and Salisbury Road. When Troopers and Deputies went to apprehend Hudson, he reportedly resisted arrest.

Police say Hudson was taken into custody and charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Trespassing, and Resisting Arrest. Hudson was reportedly taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held on $20,000 bond in the Worcester County Jail. The Worcester County Sheriff's Office and the Ocean City Police Dept reportedly assisted in locating and apprehending Hudson.
