Single-Vehicle Crash In Berlin Sends One To Hospital

BERLIN, Md - Maryland State Police say a single-vehicle crash injured one person on Saturday.

According to reports, at approximately 1:31 PM, troopers from the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack responded to northbound Route 113, in the area of Downs Road,  for a motor vehicle collision with injuries.  Investigation reportedly revealed that Sherry Lieberman, 67, of Virginia Beach, was traveling north on US Route 113 when her vehicle left the roadway and collided with a concrete culvert. 

Police say Lieberman was transported by ambulance to Peninsula Regional Medical Center and was then flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, MD.  There were reportedly no other vehicles involved in the collision.
