CAMDEN, Del. - The cause of a Tuesday evening Camden house fire, is still under investigation.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office says the blaze started around 11:30 PM, and was reported by the occupants of the Vining Run home, in the Pharsalia Development. The Camden-Wyoming Fire Company responded to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the attic of the single story home.
Several other fire companies assisted the Camden-Wyoming FC in putting out the blaze, that was reportedly under control just after 12:40 AM. Officials say all of the occupants of the house were able to get out without any reported injuries.
Damages are estimated at $200,000. The Fire Marshal is still looking into the cause of the blaze. Officials say the home did have operating smoke detectors.
