VA State Police Report 109 Wrecks Amid Storm

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police say troopers have responded to more than 100 wrecks since a winter storm hit the state.
    
State police spokesman Sgt. Thomas J. Molnar says 109 accidents occurred from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. Monday, including 46 in the Richmond metro area. Most of the wrecks involved property damage.
    
The Virginia Department of Transportation is reporting minor to moderate conditions on primary roads across the state.
    
Winter storm warnings remain in effect for about 20 counties.
