WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Organizers say this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Wilmington drew thousands of onlookers and participants.
Saturday's parade was the 39th run of the annual event by the Irish Culture Club of Delaware. It included dancing acts, bagpipe music and many floats and participates dressed in green.
Parade co-chair Patrick Kelly says the event drew about 7,000 to 8,000 spectators. There were 65 entries that ranged from one person to 40 participants each.
