Police Arrest Parkville Man Wanted Out Of Baltimore City

Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. - Easton Police say they arrested a Parkville man yesterday who was wanted by the Baltimore City Police Department.

According to reports, police stopped a vehicle on Ocean Gateway near Dutchman's Lane for a traffic violation. Police say they made contact with the driver, David Brian Eugene Olah, 46, of Willoughby Road in Parkville. A check of Olah's driver's license status reportedly revealed that Olah was driving on a suspended driver's license, and also had an active arrest warrant out of Baltimore County for charges of first degree burglary and theft under $1,000.

Police say the warrant was issued as a result of an investigation conducted by the Baltimore City Police Department wherein Olah was developed as a suspect in a burglary that occurred at a residence in Dundalk, Maryland. Olah allegedly broke into the residence and stole cash and cards on the victim, and was witnessed on video attempting to use the victim's credit card.

Police say Olah was transported to the Easton Police Department and served with the warrant, and was processed with traffic charges for driving on a suspended driver's license and speeding. Olah was reportedly taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance Hearing and was remanded to the Talbot County Detention Center on a bond of $6,500 pending trial in this matter.
