High End Wine Bar Coming To Historic Downtown Salisbury

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - A high-end wine bar is on the way to downtown Salisbury.

The Cork and Cap will take over 3,500 square feet of the historic synagogue building downtown.

John Flamos, owner of the Cork and Cap, says the bar will have live entertainment, movie nights, food options, and anywhere from 40 to 60 different types of wine. The establishment will also feature a variety of different seating options, including a private tasting room.

"Our big thing that we're trying to do is bring a lot of opportunity for people to try wine by the glass so you don't have to sit down and try a whole bottle," says Flamos. "We're using a lot of different preservation systems to keep the wine fresh so you can never tell it might have been opened a few days ago."

Flamos says they do not yet have a set date for the grand opening, but they hope for it to be up and running within three to four months.
