GOOD MORNING DELMARVA - Caring for a loved one can be challenging and at times - overwhelming, but also the most rewarding. Caregivers understand that they have a job to do as a member of their loved one's care team. Caregiving can be shared among you, your family, your friends, other health experts, even your doctor.
An upcoming Caregiver's Conference is targeted towards working caregivers who need help discussing sensitive subjects with their loved one, handling changes in their relationships (role-reversals and loss), and empowering caregivers to achieve work and family life balance in caregiving.
It will be held at MAC INC, 909 Progress Circle, Salisbury, MD on March 22nd from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Conferees can expect to learn about how to deal with the changing family roles, how to approach and handle difficult conversations, moving forward with life balance while planning for financial and legal matters and long-term care.
