Amber Alert Issued For 11-Year-Old Baltimore County Girl

BALTIMORE, Md. - The Baltimore County Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for a child, who was believed to be abducted on Thursday morning.

Authorities are looking for 11-year-old Caitlyn Marie Virts, who is described as a white female, 5 feet tall, weighting 80 pounds, who may be wearing glasses. Police say Caitlyn was last seen around 7:00 AM on Thursday, in Dundalk, Maryland.

Authorities reportedly believe that 38-year-old Timothy Howard Virts, may have taken her. The suspect is described as a 6' 3" tall, white male, weighting 280 pounds, possibly driving a black 1999 Dodge Durango with Maryland tags 5AJ4458.

Anyone with information is asked to immediately call 911 or Baltimore County Police Department at 410-887-7320. Police as that you do not take action which could endanger your safety or further endanger the reportedly abducted child.
