VA May Lift Ban, Allow Sunday Hunting On Private Property

Posted: Updated:

VIRGINIA - Good news could be on the way for weekend hunters in Virginia.

A bill that would lift a ban on hunting wild animals and birds on private property and state waters on Sundays has officially passed the general assembly. Now, it is up to Governor Terry McAuliffe to sign the measure.

However, the bill would still restrict hunting within 200 yards of a place of worship.
