Salisbury Police Make Fourteen Shoplifting Arrests

SALISBURY, Md. - A local police force is working to cut down thefts from businesses. Salisbury Police say they are hoping by publicizing the arrests they make for shoplifting, they will, in turn, reduce incidents of the crime.

They say that shoplifters contribute to retailers having to raise costs to cover those stolen items. Experts say U.S. retailers report $35 million in stolen merchandise, every day.

From February 25th through March 3rd, 2014, Salisbury Police say they made 14 shoplifting arrests:

Stacey Bozman, 30, of Salisbury, MD

Brett Dilworth Jr., 21, of Laurel, DE
Donald Adkins, 59, of Salisbury, MD
Edwin Miller III, of Parsonsburg, MD
and a Juvenile Female of Easton, MD

Salisbury Police say all nine people, were charged with theft in the 14 incidents.
