DOVER, Del. - Police are looking for a Newark man, after a traffic stop lead to a drug and gun seizure, along with four arrests.

Delaware State Police say on Wednesday, around 3:00 PM, two Troopers patrolling Route 1 in Dover, noticed a Dodge Avenger speeding, so they pulled it over, near the Scarborough Road exit. The driver, 30-year-old Marques Purnell of Newark, apparently had a suspended drivers license, and was arrested. Police say they searched the vehicle, and found 454 grams of marijuana, along with a digital scale. 28-year-old Jermaine Durrant, of New York, New York, a passenger of the car, was then also arrested.

A few hours later Detectives were reportedly searching Purnell's home on Greenridge Road in Newark, when they tried to stop a 1996 Nissan Maxima that was leaving the house. According to the report, the Nissan eventually pulled into a parking lot and the driver, later identified as 20-year-old Horace Johnson, fled on foot. Troopers say they weren't able to catch him, but that he is a resident of the Greenridge Road home. During the search of the home, Police say they found approximately 11 pounds of marijuana, 56 bags of heroin, a sawed off shotgun, cash, and drug paraphernalia. 23-year-old Kevon Walter, of Bronx, New York, and 20-year-old Amanda Haden, of Wilmington, were arrested at the home.

Purnell was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 1 quantity, 2nd and 3rd degree conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended or revoked, and speeding. He was released on $16,301 bail.

Durrant was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 1 quantity, 2nd and 3rd degree conspiracy, along with possession of drug paraphernalia, and released on $16,200 bond.

Walters was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 1 quantity, and 2nd degree conspiracy. He is being held at Howard R. Young Correctional Institute on $15,000 bail.

Haden was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a tier 1 quantity, and 2nd degree conspiracy. She is being held at Baylor Women's Correctional Institute on $4,000 bond.

Delaware State Police are still looking for Johnson, on drug and weapons charges.
