Lower Shore Health Ins. Assistance Program Hosts Various Enrollment Events

MARYLAND - Sign-ups for the Maryland health exchange are at about 190,000. With the deadline for open enrollment fast approaching, the Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program is hosting a number of outreach events starting this Saturday.

It will be held at the Wicomico County public library's main branch from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Other scheduled events are listed below:

·         Saturday, March 1: Princess Anne Library, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

·         Monday, March 3: Riverside Drive Pharmacy in Salisbury, 8 a.m. – Noon

·         Monday, March 3: Milford Street Pharmacy in Salisbury, 1 – 5 p.m.

·         Tuesday, March 4: Berlin Rite Aid, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

·         Tuesday, March 4: Ocean City Rite Aid, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

·         Tuesday, March 4: Pocomoke Rite Aid, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

·         Wednesday, March 5: UMES Rotunda, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

·         Thursday, March 6: Wicomico County Library Main Branch, 5 - 7 p.m.

·         Thursday, March 6: Pittsville Library, 5 – 7 p.m.

·         Saturday, March 8: HealthConnectNow Health and Enrollment Fair at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

·         Saturday, March 8: Ocean City CVS, Noon – 4 p.m.

·         Monday, March 10: Princess Anne Rite Aid, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

·         Monday, March 10: Salisbury Rite Aid, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

·         Monday, March 10: Centre at Salisbury Library, 5 – 7 p.m.

·         Tuesday, March 11: Karemore Pharmacy in Princess Anne, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

·         Wednesday, March 26: UMES Health and Wellness Festival, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
